DMARC Reporting, What is it?
DMARC reporting is a feature within the broader DMARC email security protocol. Imagine your email system as your home mailbox. Normally, anyone can drop a letter in there, and you'd have to manually sort through to figure out what's important, what's a regular advertisement, and what might be a scam.
DMARC acts like a sort of vigilant mail carrier. It looks at every piece of mail (or email, in this case) and checks if it's genuinely from who it claims to be from. It does this by examining the "return address" and other identifying features of the mail, comparing them with a list of approved senders that you've set up beforehand. If an email doesn't pass the test, it gets marked as suspicious or doesn't get delivered at all.
